This study aims to analyze the effects of Financial literacy, investment anxiety, and the perceived credibility of financial influencers on social media on the investment intention of Generation Z in West Sumatra. This research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The population consists of members of Generation Z residing in West Sumatra, with a purposive sampling technique applied to 123 respondents who met the research criteria. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4. The results show that Financial literacy and perceived credibility of financial influencer have a positive and significant effect on investment intention, with perceived credibility of financial influencer having the strongest influence. However, contrary to the initial hypothesis, investment anxiety also has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, the three variables contribute 51.6% (R² = 0.516) to investment intention. This research is expected to serve as a reference for understanding the factors influencing investment intention and to encourage Generation Z to invest more wisely in the digital era.
