The growth of social media has significantly transformed the way Islamic da'wah is disseminated. This article examines the influence of social media on Islamic da'wah thought in the digital era, along with its opportunities and challenges. Through a literature study employing a descriptive-analytical approach, the findings indicate that social media has made da'wah more interactive, expansive, and borderless, while simultaneously driving developments in its methods, content, and objectives. On the other hand, challenges such as radical content, religiously charged hoaxes, and misrepresentations of Islam continue to shape the digital da'wah landscape. Accordingly, an intelligent, contextual, and moderate Islamic thought-based approach to da'wah is necessary so that social media can serve as an effective and responsible medium for spreading the faith.
