Authors who publish in the Indonesian Journal of Social Issues (IJOSIM) retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.

The articles published in the Indonesian Journal of Social Issues (IJOSIM) are made available under an open-access license, allowing readers to access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, provided that proper credit is given to the original authors and the journal.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submitted manuscripts are original works and do not infringe upon the copyright, intellectual property rights, or other legal rights of any third party.

By submitting a manuscript to IJOSIM, authors confirm that:

  • The manuscript is an original work and has not been previously published in another journal or publication.

  • The manuscript does not violate the copyright or intellectual property rights of any third party.

  • All sources, quotations, data, figures, tables, and other materials used in the manuscript are appropriately acknowledged and cited.

  • Authors have obtained the necessary permissions for any copyrighted material reproduced in the manuscript.

  • The authors retain copyright ownership of their published work while granting IJOSIM the right of first publication.

  • The journal encourages the dissemination and reuse of published scholarly works in accordance with the applicable open-access license, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the authors, the article title, the journal, and the original publication.
